A man is in serious condition after an industrial accident at an ethanol plant in Galva. Police say this happened yesterday afternoon at Big River Resources when a contractor suffered a significant burn injury. The victim was airlifted to a trauma center. According to a preliminary investigation, the contractor was using a power tool in an area thought to be free of ethanol, but residual product ignited, causing thermal burns to the man.
