Knox County Clerk’s office has compiled the list of the most popular baby names from all the births that occurred in Knox County over the past year. “It is always interesting to see what names make the top of the list each year,” stated Knox County Clerk/Recorder Scott Erickson. “Some years it is a pretty close race for the top spots on the list, some years there is a dominant winner.” The top names in Knox County are as follows:

For girls the top name was a tie between Ava and Isabelle at 4 babies each. In second place with 3 each was Aurora, Faith, and Sophia.

For boys there was a 4-way tie at 4 babies each for Ezra, Liam, Oliver, and Theodore. In second place with 3 each was Asher, Benjamin, Jacob, and Weston.
