Roberta “Bobbie” Eileen Fox, age 75, of Oquawka, Illinois, passed away at 10:35 PM on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the SE Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington, Iowa. She was born May 6, 1948 in Clear Spring, MD the daughter of David L. and Jane Rosella (Keyser) Snyder. Bobbie was one of six children born to them. She was raised and educated in Clear Spring, graduating from the High School there. On May 6, 1977, she married Arlan R. Fox in Rock Island, IL and he preceded her in death on August 23, 2023. Bobbie and Arlan were the loves of each others lives, and as most knew, the were seldom apart. She was previously married to Gerald DeSheppard.

For a time, Bobbie attended Nursing School. She worked many years at Case in East Moline, IL, and this is where her and Arlan met. Together, they their family and worked hard. They loved life and being together. They loved attending antique shows, auctions, and traveling. All this time, they met some wonderful people and life long friends.

Bobbie is survived by three daughters, Dawn Fox of Quincy, IL, Melissa (Tony) Fox of Gladstone, IL, and Sonya (Norm) Fox of DesMoines, IA, two sons, Todd (Val) Fox of Davenport, IA and David (Nancy) Fox of Hagerstown, MD, three sisters, Linda Snyder, Judy Snyder, and Kathryn Snyder, and two brothers, Richard (Hilda) Snyder and Kenneth (Linda) Snyder. She is also survived six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and other extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Arlan.

A funeral service for Roberta “Bobbie” Fox is planned for 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Family interment will be held at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Wheatland, IA. A memorial fund is being established for the SE Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington, IA.
