The 182nd Airlift Wing Recruiting team is scheduled to host a career showcase for Illinois high school students at the Peoria Air National Guard base, Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
This event will showcase what the Air National Guard is and what it has to offer recruits, highlighting the different jobs and opportunities available to Illinois youth.
The career showcase is open to any high school students interested in learning about the local military service, as well as the career opportunities and educational benefits available to military members.
During this event there will be opportunities to meet members of the 182nd, experience what the day-to-day operations around the airlift wing are like, learn about the college tuition assistance programs, learn about the potential for the newly released enlistment bonuses of up to $50,000 for certain jobs fields and an interactive career fair in the main hangar.
This event will be located at the 182ndAirlift Wing, 2416 South Falcon Boulevard, Peoria, Illinois 61607. The showcase is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
