Story by Kadin Rogers

The Monmouth-Roseville Titans baseball team has gotten on a hot streak in this first half of the month of April. After beginning the season just 3-6, the Titans have rattled off 5 wins in a row dating back to their April 6th win over Riverdale in Bettendorf. Monmouth-Roseville’s most recent win came on Monday night when the Titans took down Morrison 17-1 at Sunny Lane Field. In this 5 game winning stretch, Monmouth-Roseville is outscoring their opponents 69-11, and the team is clicking on both sides of the ball, as in this 5 game streak M-R is batting .439 and their pitchers have combined for just a 1.45 ERA.

Speaking on the WRAM Morning Show on Wednesday, Titans Head Coach Jordan Ball says team morale and confidence is a lot higher now that the team is 8-6 overall, compared to their 3-6 start to the season.

Monmouth-Roseville will look to keep their momentum rolling this week, as the Titans have a busy stretch of road games. On Wednesday, the Titans are in Woodhull to take on a very solid 13-2 Ridgewood team. The team travels to Morrison on Thursday for another match with the Mustangs. Monmouth-Roseville finishes the week with a Saturday doubleheader at Spring Valley Hall.
