Michael T. Harding, 68, of Oquawka, IL, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at his home.

Michael was born February 2, 1956 in Galesburg, IL the son of Jack and Audrey Marie (Preston) Harding.  He was raised and educated in Abingdon, graduating from Abingdon High School.

Michael married Connie Erickson and later married Deb Downard on July 11, 2009 in Galesburg and she survives.

Michael worked at Gates Rubber Co. in the Band Berry and was Forklift driver for 49 years retiring in 2023.

He enjoyed working and driving Demo cars, camping, he loved the river and hanging out with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Deb Harding of Oquawka; 2 daughters, Brande (Mark) Kelly of WI and Terri (Craig) McCants of Galesburg; his 2 stepsons, Shawn (Jen) Tracey of Alexis and Kyle (Samantha) Tracey of TX; 4 grandsons; 1 great granddaughter; 5 step grandsons and 2 step granddaughters; also surviving is his brother, Larry Harding of Galesburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Harding and Audrey Anderson and his stepfather, Clarence Anderson.
