The United girls golf team traveled to Midland Golf Course today for the 9 team Stark County Rebel Invite. The girls won first place with a team score of 373. Second place Ridgewood shot 416. The five United girls playing today all finished in the top 10 and got individual medals.
Meredith Yung 85, 2nd place.
Paige Christianson 95, 3rd place.
Jalyn Wallace 96, 4th place.
Emmie Briggs 97, 5th place.
Brodi McVeigh 100, 8th place.
This was a great team effort.
There was also a coed plaque given to the school with the lowest combined boys and girls scores. United boys and girls came home with that plaque also.
It was an outstanding effort by the boys and girls today.
