The Galesburg Community Foundation Board of Directors has voted to adopt Henderson County into their servicing area, reports President and CEO Josh Gibb:

“We worked with some partners to come up with resources this year. The Twomey Family Foundation partnered with us again, they were one of our partners when we did the Community Funds in Warren County, along with the Greater Warren County United Way, but then we worked with the Cavins Family Foundation, they are a fund held at the Community Foundation and just distributed $100,000 in grants to not-for-profits in Henderson County. We did that to really be able to get to start to know the work of the not-for-profits in Henderson County.”
