Incentive Program Launches to Attract New Attorneys in Rural Communities

In an effort to address the growing shortage of attorneys in rural communities, the Illinois State Bar Association has launched the Rural Practice Fellowship Program. The program aims to connect law students with career opportunities in the underserved rural areas of Illinois. The program offers law students and new lawyers financial incentives, including loan repayment assistance, as they establish careers in rural communities.
