The (14-6) Monmouth-Roseville Titan girls basketball team has started a stretch of games that will see them on the floor 7 times in 12 days. Nearly all of those games are against teams well over .500. It began on January 9th with a win over Rockridge, followed by a thrilling 1-point win over Ridgewood and then a loss to (15-6) on Monday night. The next four games on the schedule include a trip to (14-6) Macomb tonight against a Bomber team that is battling the Titans for a top-4 seed in the postseason….an important home TRAC West Division game against (13-6) Riverdale on Thursday….a road game at perennial power (16-6) Brimfield on Saturday and ending with a Monday Illini West Shootout game against a solid (11-10) Illini West on their home floor. It will be a pivotal time for Monmouth-Roseville, as they have hopes of winning a very tough TRAC West Division, while also keeping an eye on postseason sub-sectional seeding. Titan head coach Scott Weber knows the challenge what’s ahead but they have to focus on each game, one at a time.

We’ll have the Monmouth-Roseville and Macomb Bomber girls basketball game on the PCSN on AM 1330/FM 95.7 WRAM. The pregame show will start after the JV game has completed at around 6:40, tip-off of the varsity game is scheduled for 7:00. Besides the radio, you can also listen online at radiomonmouth.com or on our free 1330 WRAM app for your smartphone or tablet.
