Illinois Earns #6 Seed In NCAA Tourney, Playing In Milwaukee

The Illinois men’s basketball team is heading north for the NCAA Tournament.  The Fighting Illini earned a six-seed in the Midwest region and will face the winner of Wednesday’s First Four match-up between number-eleven seeds Texas and Xavier.  Illinois’ opening round game will be played Friday night in Milwaukee at Fiserv Forum.  The Illini have made five straight NCAA Tournament appearances.
