Over 80 athletes participate in a variety of events throughout the year with the Warren County Falcons, shares Cathy Betar:
“We are rocking and rolling at the YMCA with our newer program going on out there. We call it the SNAP, which is Special Needs Athletic Program. We have just over 80 athletes in Warren County, and we are also working with Henderson County with some of their folks. We are still offering sports all year round; we have a whole bunch going on right now. We will have 29 athletes going to the state Summer Games.”
On Saturday, June 28th, a charity bar crawl, ride, or drive will take place, benefiting the Warren and Henderson County Special Needs Athletic Program. Cost is $10 per person and registration begins at 10 am at Avery’s Pub in Downtown Monmouth.
