The Illinois Department of Transportation is holding an open house job fair next week in the Quad Cities. The event will take place on October 7th at the Milan Maintenance Yard. Attendees can apply for seasonal positions to assist with snow and ice removal in Rock Island County. Both full-time and hourly maintainers help IDOT maintain more than 45-thousand lane miles statewide each winter.
