For more than two decades, Shannon and her husband were in the driver’s seat of the monster truck world. But when the COVID-19 pandemic shut down live events, the couple suddenly found themselves at a standstill.

“During the COVID shutdown, we were out of business for going on close to two years, and my husband and I were having a conversation, and he was like, ‘You know what hasn’t shut down? Garbage service,’” shares Quick.

Quicks Dumpster and Disposal opened three years ago in Alexis, Illinois, initially just offering roll-off rentals.

“About a year into that, we decided to go ahead and touch on some curbside residential service and some small dumpster service and meet a service that a lot of people in the area were really looking to change up and find a new company to take care of their needs.”

Today, Quicks services roughly 1,300 customers in the west central Illinois region.
