Here’s the WMOI/WRAM Athletes of the Week for the week ending November 2nd, 2025:

The Monmouth-Roseville Titan Athlete of the Week is sophomore volleyball player, Carmyn Way. Carmyn smashed 6 kills and hustled her way to 7 digs a regional quarterfinal win over Peoria Manual. In two regional matches, Carmyn had 12 kills, 11 digs and four service aces. She led the Titans for the season in aces and kills.

The United Red Storm Athlete of the Week is junior volleyball player, Irelynn Marshall. Irelynn had a nice all around match in a close regional loss to Knoxville. She smashed 8 kills and had 9 digs. Irelynn led the Red Storm in kills and aces for the season and was 3rd in digs.

The West Central Heat Athlete of the Week is sophomore football player, Colton Spence. Colton had a solid all-around game in a playoff loss to a very solid West Carroll squad. He ran for the lone Heat touchdown and passed for 43 yards. Colton also was a menace on defense, garnering 11 total tackles.

The Galesburg Silver Streak Athlete of the Week is senior boys soccer player, Anthony Makwala. Anthony was named to the All-Western Big Six Conference First Team for his performance on the field this fall. He scored 10 goals and assisted on 6 others on the season. Anthony ends his high school career as a 4-year starter and 2-year team captain.

The Abingdon-Avon Tornado Athlete of the Week is senior boys soccer players, Teagan Hunter and Garron Mason. Along with the Tornadoes tying the school record for wins in a season with 13, both athletes broke school records this season. Teagan set a new mark of blocked shots in a season with 29, shattering the old mark of 13. Garron posted 8 shutouts, breaking the old record by one.
