The Illinois Land Improvement Contractors Association (ILICA) will host an IDOT Trucking Regulations Workshop on February 13, 2026, at Martin Equipment of Illinois, located at 3720 85th Ave W, Rock Island, IL. This half‑day program is designed specifically for contractors, operators, and transportation personnel who need up‑to‑date, practical guidance on state trucking laws and compliance requirements.
The workshop will be led by Troopers Anton & Dereu, Illinois State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officers (CVEOs), who will cover essential topics including:
- CDL license requirements
- Physical qualification standards
- Load securement
- Weight regulations
- Hours of service
- Inspections and safety scores
- Audit expectations
Attendees will also participate in a Load Securement Walkaround, gaining hands‑on insight into proper procedures and common compliance issues, followed by a Martin Equipment facilities tour, ILICA updates, and lunch provided for all registered attendees.
