The Mary Davis Detention Home in Galesburg is closing indefinitely. The juvenile detention facility is set to close on March 21st due to financial issues. The facility was also the subject of a federal lawsuit last year over its practices. The closing date was chosen to give the court time to relocate the children being held there.
