Today is the Illinois primary election for midterms later this year. The midterm election will include an open Senate seat. That race has three frontrunner candidates, Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton and Representatives Raja Krishnamoorthi and Robin Kelly. The candidates are seeking to replace retiring U.S. Senator Dick Durbin. There are also multiple open congressional seats up for grabs.
