Alexis native Jenn Caslin was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer. Members of the local community have come together to host a benefit for Jenn to support her and her family as she enters the next phase in her fight. Josie Lair has more details:
“She is an Alexis Illinois lifelong resident. Her family has been from there forever. I grew up with her, and I work with her on JFL. She does so much to support all the kids in the community with their sports. She is involved with everything in the United Rec League. The community has come together and put together a fundraiser for her. It starts at 11 am. We are going to have a silent auction, live auction, we have t-shirts and koozies for sale, and we are going to have food. It is going to be a nice community event at the Community Center in Alexis. We really just want to get as many people as possible there to support Jenn.”
The Benefit for Jenn Caslin is being held Saturday, March 14th from 11 am to 6 pm at the Alexis Community Center, 200 West Palmer Street.
