This spring, Sandburg is hosting three separate career development workshops that are free and open to the entire community. Associate Director of Workforce Development and Community Education Jessa Morgan shares the details:
“Held on our Galesburg campus and led by our Career Development Coordinator Tracy Engstrom, we start up with ‘Power Up Your LinkedIn Profile’ on April 21st from noon to 1 pm. It will be in our Building G, Room G108A. It is about helping people stand out online, building their network, and attract job opportunities,” says Morgan.
“Continuing with this type of series, we have the ‘Resume 911’ on May 12th from 8 to 9 am. You can bring your resume, or you can start from scratch and get quick, practical feedback. Then we will go into an ‘Interview Bootcamp’ on May 19th from 4 to 5 pm. We will walk through real interview questions and strategies, so people can feel confident walking in,” Morgan adds.
