The Knox County Health Department and Knox Community Health Center are inviting Knox County residents to join in two fun and meaningful Mental Health Awareness activities this Friday, May 22, 2026: Chalk the Town Green and Wear Green Day! 💚
We encourage individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to grab some sidewalk chalk and spread positivity throughout the community with uplifting messages on sidewalks and driveways. Simple messages like:
- “You Matter”
- “It’s OK to Ask for Help”
- “Start the Conversation”
- “Mental Health Matters”
can brighten someone’s day and remind others they are not alone.
Don’t forget to wear green on Friday to show your support for mental health awareness and help spark conversations in our community!
Participants are also encouraged to share photos on social media and tag the Knox County Health Department using @knoxcountyhealth.
Together, we can color our community with kindness, support, and hope!
