A Knox County wind energy project is halted.  The Knox County Wind project was shut down after a federal order delayed permits.  It began last month and was expected to bring 300 construction jobs and generated more than 40-million-dollars in tax revenue for Knox County.  Pentagon officials say the permits have been withheld to ensure the project doesn’t hinder national security or military operations.
