Molek Reaches 200 Career Wins as Red Storm Stay Hot

The United Red Storm baseball team has been on an absolute tear lately, winning six straight games and outscoring opponents 91-7 during that stretch.

In the middle of that run, the Red Storm passed the 20-win mark for the third straight season and the fifth time in the last six years. United also celebrated another milestone Saturday, as Head Coach Ryan Molek picked up his 200th career win in game one of a doubleheader against Knoxville.

Coach Molek says that milestone would not have been possible without his coaching staff.

The Red Storm currently sit at 22-5-2 with just five games left on the regular season schedule. Molek says the matchups ahead could be a good preview of teams United may see again in the postseason.

The Red Storm are back on the diamond tonight at Princeville for an LTC crossover matchup, before returning home Saturday to take on Midwest Central.
