Graduation weekend has arrived for Monmouth College’s Class of 2026. Students, along with their families, will enjoy the Baccalaureate service, Honor Walk, and Senior Send-Off Saturday, May 16th, followed by the Commencement ceremony Sunday afternoon. President Dr. Patricia Draves shares more details:
“We have 190 graduates this year. About 40 of those graduated in December, but will be here. It is a nice sized class for us and we are welcoming their families and they are pretty excited. The energy on campus right now if through the roof,” states Dr. Draves.
“Graduation is in front of our iconic building, Wallace Hall, on the lawn. Brad Narhstadt, who is an alum and a member of our Board of Trustees, has had a long, very successful career in the legal business, but has now turned to an author, will be our speaker,” Dr. Draves adds.
The Baccalaureate service will be at 2 pm Saturday afternoon in Dahl Chapel, the Honor Walk Ceremony will follow at 3:30 pm at Wallace Hall Plaza, and the Senior Send-Off in April Zorn Memorial Stadium is at 8 pm that evening. Commencement will begin at noon at Wallace Hall Plaza on Sunday, May 17th.
