It’s officially postseason time for our local baseball teams, and the Monmouth-Roseville Titans will open regional semifinal play tomorrow.
The Titans are in the Princeton Regional and drew a first-round matchup with 24-10-1 Spring Valley Hall. The two teams met just under a month ago, with Monmouth-Roseville falling 13-3 after the Red Devils put up seven runs in the first inning.
This time around, the Titans will look to flip the script, keep their season alive, and earn a spot in the regional championship game. Head Coach Mike Huston says at this point in the season, the message is simple.
Tomorrow’s regional semifinal between Monmouth-Roseville and Spring Valley Hall is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start in Princeton.
