According to City of Monmouth City Administrator Lew Steinbrecher, the search for his successor is currently underway:

“The job announcement has been out and published in a couple of professional publications. We have until May 1st as a deadline for the submission of resumes. We have received a few already and then we will begin to initially review, make some calls, and make contact with the candidates to finalize a list for formal interviews. That is probably yet some time ahead. I would guess the evaluation, at least preliminary, we will take through the month of May and then set up interviews for perhaps late June or early July. It is somewhat tentative. It really depends on the number of candidates and the qualifications of the candidates.”
