Regional championship weekend is just one day away for IHSA baseball, and the United Red Storm are looking to capture their first regional title since winning back-to-back championships in 2021 and 2022.
United has lost three straight regional title games, but the Red Storm will have another shot to get back on top tomorrow. United advanced to the championship after a dominant 14-0 win over Bushnell-Prairie City on Wednesday.
The championship matchup was set last night after Princeville took down ROWVA-Williamsfield 7-2. The Princes enter the title game at 15-19, while United comes in at 28-5-2, riding a 12-game winning streak.
