The United Red Storm baseball team is getting close to yet another 20-win season and a 6th straight Lincoln Trail Conference West Division title. The Red Storm are currently (18-5-2) overall and (5-1) in the LTC West Division. United has two division games remaining, a double header at Knoxville on Saturday. A sweep of the Blue Bullets would give the Red Storm an outright division championship. A split and at least one more loss from either A-Town or ROWVA/Williamsfield would also give the Red Storm an outright title. This would be the 6th straight season that United would win, or share, an LTC conference or division championship. Head Coach Ryan Molek says there is a lot of baseball to be played, but first, their full attention is on the Blue Bullets on Saturday.
Coach Molek is one win away from 200 total wins in his 13 year head coaching career, all at United High School. The double header at Knoxville gets underway at 11am on Saturday.
