The West Central Board of Education continues to conduct interviews in the search for a new Superintendent as Stacey Day’s final day quickly approaches:
“I will finish up my time at West Central on June 30th. The Board has been working through the hiring process. They had second round interviews that met with the Board again, an administrative district office team, and they put together a team of community and staff members as well. Hopefully they make an offer to somebody and get a candidate that will be able to start July 1st.”
Superintendent Day also reports that West Central Elementary Principal Mrs. Kathy Lafary is retiring at the end of this school year and the Board has already approved hiring current Assistant Principal Bryan Taylor to fill that position.
