𝐈𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐄𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐬

The Illinois State Police (ISP) conducted a multi-agency enforcement detail on June 15-20, 2026, in central Illinois focusing its efforts on Peoria, Tazewell and Warren counties. ​ The operation utilized aerial surveillance, intra agency collaboration, and technology to target known high fatality crash areas, high crime areas, organized violent offenders, and criminal groups using interstate systems to facilitate crime. Even with inclement weather hitting the area mid-week, suspending the detail for the day, Officers were still successful in their enforcement efforts.
