Harlem Ave Construction Moving Forward

Share

Harlem Avenue construction continues, as crews are getting ready to pour concrete on the north side of the street.

City of Monmouth Public Works Director Brayden Bledsoe shares the latest.

“They’ve definitely made some progress on the south side, but right now we’re working towards getting our center line cleaned up out there and preparing to pour that north side. If you drive by, they’ve really got that gravel base compacted very nice. It’s starting to pass all of our density testing, and Brandt’s preparing to pour that northern side and hopefully get out of there here soon, so we can get that road open.”

Bledsoe says the city is hoping to get the road opened relatively soon, weather permitting.
