The Monmouth College softball team is coming off a great year in Head Coach Heather Turnquist’s first full season.
The Scots put together their best season since 2018, finishing with a 15-23 record overall and an 8-8 mark in Midwest Conference play.
Monmouth will look to build on that year as they have plenty of impactful returners and a big class coming in, shares Coach Turnquist.
“We have most of our recruiting class set, which we’re very happy with. I believe we have 10 girls coming in for the fall, which will make a big impact on our group. A good number of returners as well, with a lot of sophomores that will be juniors that have a lot of experience, so very excited.”
Turnquist says the Scots will look to take another step forward next season with that mix of experience coming back and new talent joining the program.
