PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

TRI-COUNTY SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLING PLAN

Notice is hereby given that Warren County, Illinois will hold a public hearing regarding the Tri-County Solid Waste and Recycling Plan update for McDonough, Mercer, and Warren Counties in accordance with the Illinois Solid Waste Planning and Recycling Act.

The purpose of the hearing is to provide the public with an opportunity to review and comment on the regional solid waste and recycling planning process, current waste management practices, recycling opportunities, public education efforts, and future goals related to solid waste management within the region.

Date: June 25, 2026

Time: 5:30 pm

Location: Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau Reception Room; 1000 N. Main Street; Monmouth, IL

Public comments and input are encouraged and will be considered as part of the planning and development process for the updated regional solid waste management plan.
