The Buchanan Center for the Arts has added Monmouth College graduate and former intern Madison Hieser to the team as Community Outreach Coordinator.
BCA Executive Director Ann Tenold says Hieser is already making strides.
“Madison has been of great help, just finding spaces for us to be able to hold classes, put up take-and-make kits, and create-while-you-wait tables. She’s really helped us grow our reach. In fact, she found a new place and a new artist that we’re hopefully going to be able to host in Oquawka’s Township Hall. We hope to continue to do that, and the only way we could do that is with Madison’s help as our outreach coordinator.”
Tenold says the BCA wants to keep bringing classes and activities to more communities in the area.
