Robert Ciszewski joined Southeast Iowa Regional Airport on July 1st as airport manager. Robert comes with a wide level of aviation experience with Airline/Airport Operations, Airline Station Management, and Fixed Based Operations. During his career in aviation, he has leadership experience in multi-site operations, strategic growth, negotiations, and workforce development. He is also a veteran and a former U.S. Navy Aircraft Electrician and received specialized electrical leadership training.
Robert studied Professional Aviation Management with a wide range of professional certifications including OSHA, ATA 103, GSC Trainer, Far Part 139.321 Fire Safety, Airport Security, and HAZMAT Trainer, among others.
Outside of work, Robert enjoys mentoring future leaders, traveling with family, and volunteering in veteran support organizations. He is passionate about building strong, value-driven teams and believes that trust, clarity, and accountability are the cornerstones of lasting operational success.
