The Warren County Fair Queen Pageant, and the fair itself, is just right around the corner, with a brand-new building this year. Saturday, July 11th, the pageant will kick off the fair then the rest of the festivities will start that Sunday, in the morning. Pageant Director and Building Manager, DeNeene Killey, talks more about what to look forward to at the fair.
“The fair this year runs from July 11th, which is the kick of the pageant, Little Miss, Junior Miss and Miss Warren County Fair Queen, and then on Sunday we are doing our normal 5k. They’re doing a breakfast that morning in the brand-new building. It used to be that we had church in the park, they’re going to do church in the new building. Then, we’ll follow that up with mud volleyball later that afternoon, and then we take a couple of days off before we get into the livestock and the evening grandstand events, which the entire thing will run from the 11th to the 18th of July.”
“I am the building manager, so you are able to either get onto our website and look up my address or email and phone number to get a hold of me, or you can reach out through the actual fair website, and they will just forward that information onto me.”
