Fall sports season is here, and ICS has already gotten one of their teams into competition.
New Athletic Director and ICS alum Jack Thompson shares an update on the start of the fall season.
“We’re kind of fortunate where we’ve already had two golf meets, which have been good. We hosted one this past Monday at the country club, which was a really good evening. We had Macomb, United, Costa, and then an individual over from Galesburg. It was a really nice night. Everyone was able to finish and get all nine holes in. We were supposed to start baseball yesterday, but obviously with all the rain, that did not happen yet. So we’re kind of getting everything started over there at ICS right now.”
ICS baseball will now look to open their season tomorrow, weather permitting, with their own jamboree featuring West Central, BPC, and United. Cross country will also get their season underway tomorrow at Knoxville.
