A new grant opportunity at Sandburg provides adult learners with funds as they work toward their degree. According to Marketing Coordinator Aaron Frey, the Earn as You Learn Grant works hand-in-hand with Sandburg’s Charge Forward program:
“This is a grant that is supported by the Sandburg Foundation and the Vitale Family Foundation. For students who are in the Charge Forward program, even just taking one class, as long as they are 24 years and older, they will get money directly to them that they can use for whatever they want. This Earn as You Learn Grant is an incredible opportunity. By the time you finish the Charge Forward program, you can have up to $4,000 in your pocket across that two-year time frame.”
Funds in the Earn as You Learn incentive-based program will be awarded after the tenth day of each semester and ten days after graduation. The 2026 Fall Semester at Sandburg begins Monday, August 24th.
