Red, White, & Beef is this year’s Warren County Prime Beef Festival theme to coincide with America’s 250th Anniversary. The Princess Pageant will kick off the week of festivities on Saturday, September 5th at The Crossing in Monmouth beginning at 7 pm. Mackenzie Schleich announces the participants:
“Contestant Number 1 is Mylah Roberts, who is sponsored by the American Legion Post 136. Contestant Number 2 is Maleigha Ferch, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Monmouth. Contestant Number 3 is Marisela Arteaga, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary. Contestant Number 4 is Rylea Hunt, sponsored by the Recharge Teen Center. Contestant Number 5 is Hannah Neubauer, sponsored by the Sons of the American Legion. Contestant Number 6 is Joslyn Brown, sponsored by the Warren County YMCA. Contestant Number 7 is Charli Russell, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Monmouth,” shares Schleich.
“They are getting ready. They are doing a lot of prep work. We actually are a little bit different than some of the county fair pageants, we are only for seniors in high school. This is a one-shot chance that you just really get to go out and experience something a little bit different,” Schleich adds.
With this being the 50th year of the Warren County Prime Beef Festival Princess Pageant, past princesses will join the 2026 Court during the Parade down Broadway on Wednesday, September 9th.
