This Friday, August 7th, Warren Achievement Center is hosting their ‘Drive Up for a Cause’ community fundraising event at the Monmouth American Legion from noon to 5 pm. Day Programs Administrator Cari Novak shares proceeds will directly benefit the individuals they serve:
“All the proceeds are going to go back to Warren Achievement Center. We help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities reach their full potential and become as independent as possible within their abilities. This will go directly to the CDS Program and the addition that is going onto the VFW building that was purchased on the north end of town a few years ago. Warren Achievement is putting up an addition.”
Tickets are being pre-sold prior to the event for $8 and include a pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, a cookie, and water. To purchase, call 309-734-3132.
