Work has begun on the addition at Warren Achievement Center’s new Community Day Services facility on the corner of G Street and West Harlem in Monmouth. Marketing Coordinator Sean Cavanaugh shares details of the historical investment:
“We are building on a 4,700 square foot addition on the south end. We have been out raising money. We have a very generous community and am very proud for that. They have started moving dirt and bringing dirt in because on the south end of the original structure, it starts sloping downward. When that gets level, before they start putting in the foundation and footings, we are going to have a groundbreaking. It is a very historical moment for Warren Achievement Center. This is the largest building project in the history of the organization.”
Cavanaugh anticipates utilizing the newly remodeled first portion of the building, which is the former VFW, later this fall.
