It may still be warm outside, but the Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce and Maple City Area Partnership are dreaming of cooler days and Christmas Cheer. Executive Director Andrea Monroe announces the launch of a campaign to bring holiday magic to Downtown Monmouth:
“We are continuing the beautification. We want to make the downtown look beautiful like a Hallmark Christmas story this year and multiple years. We are doing this campaign, Light Up The Square. Our goal is to reach $20,000 so we can wrap the light poles, get new pole banners that are Christmas, light up snowflakes, garland across the roadways; anything to make it look more magical.”
