The 50th Warren County Prime Beef Festival Princess was announced this past Saturday during the annual pageant at The Crossing in Monmouth, where Monmouth-Roseville High School Senior Charli Russell was crowned the 2026 Warren County Prime Beef Festival Princess:
“First, we started with our personal interview that was five minutes and held privately with the judges. They got to know a little bit about each one of us. Then we did our quote on stage that we got to pick. My quote was by Dolly Parton about staying true to yourself and always coming back to your roots and your home. Next, we got to perform our talent, which was super fun, that was my favorite part of the night. After that, we did our three point walk and turn with our pop question. Then it was crowning,” shares Russell.
First Runner Up, Mylah Roberts, is a Senior at United High School:
“I had a lot of fun on Saturday and I definitely have had a lot of fun getting to know all the girls. My interview went well, my talent went well. I performed an original monologue entitled “More Than A Doll,” which was about the diabetic Barbie, because I have Type 1 diabetes. The group dance was to ‘Beat It’ by Michael Jackson and that was definitely my favorite part,” Roberts adds.
Joslyn Brown, a Senior at Monmouth-Roseville High School, was crowned Second Runner Up:
“At the beginning I was very nervous, then the girls really calmed me down and getting to see all of the girls have fun and getting to talk to them individually and asking how their talent went, haw they were feeling, it really helped boost my confidence and boost theirs as well. My talent was a monologue entitled ‘The Strength in Speaking Up.’ It was about suicide awareness and mental health awareness,” reflects Brown.
Marisela Arteaga, also a Senior at Monmouth-Roseville High School, was Third Runner Up:
“The evening was very exciting for all of us, especially the group dance. I think it gave us a chance to loosen up. My talent was ‘All I Ask’ by Adele on piano. My quote was ‘Love the Life You Live, Live the Life You Love,” Arteaga states.
Charli also received the Talent award, Mylah received Photogenic, and Maleigha Ferch received Personality. The 2026 Warren County Prime Beef Festival Princess Royal Court will be joined by previously crowned princesses during the annual parade down Broadway tonight.
