Trick-or-treating hours in the City of Monmouth will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Halloween night, Saturday, October 31. Operations Director Ken Helms highlights the Trunk-or-Treat events taking place during those hours:
“The annual event that the Monmouth Fire Department does is always very well attended. The kids can come in and have a little touch-a-truck, look at all the equipment. We partner with all the public safety agencies in the area and hand out lots of candy in there. One benefit of there is it is inside. I know a lot of the churches around the area also do trunk-or-treat type events.”
