It is Classics Day on the Monmouth College campus, Saturday, October 3rd. Over 50 interactive events will be set up behind the Center for Science and Business for the public to immerse themselves into the global classical world, explains Professor of Classics Bob Simmons:
“Classics day is a hands-on, interactive immersion into the ancient world of Greece and Rome, but also all over the world. Going from as far east as China and as far near as Monmouth. We are going to be having some representation of ancient habitation in the Monmouth area. It is a lot of immersion into things that are classical, but also a lot of the reflections of the modern world.”
Classics Day, which is free and open to the entire public, will be held from 1 to 3 pm in the afternoon of Saturday, October 3rd on the Monmouth College campus.
