As the holiday season approaches, online shopping increases and more packages will be arriving on doorsteps. A little extra attention by homeowners can help keep those packages safe, reminds Monmouth Police Sergeant Lucas Johnson:
“Packages will start coming in the mail for those holiday gifts. If you are receiving a package, make sure you know when it is coming and who is dropping it off. If you see someone suspicious in your neighborhood walking up on someone’s porch, call it in so we can help to detract these porch pirates.”
