The Friday prior to Veteran’s Day, the West Central Middle School held their Veteran’s Day Assembly, open to the local community, which was a great success, shares Superintendent Stacey Day:

“The kids did a great job. They brought in Chris Ervin, who is one of our teachers at the elementary school. She is former military and did a tour overseas in the Persian Gulf War and so she was able to talk to our kids, show some pictures of what life was like when she was over there. Both our middle school and high school band and choirs performed, and we had different middle school kids speak. It was great. It was a great day to honor all of our Veterans in our area, invite them all in for a little bit of a breakfast, and to celebrate them.”
