𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄: Interstate 74 – Eastbound Mile Marker 63, Knox County

𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍: Thursday, January 30th, 2025 at 3:12 AM

𝐕𝐄𝐇𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒:

Unit 1: Grey 2012 Cadillac Sedan

Unit 2: Grey 2019 Toyota SUV

DRIVERS:

Unit 1: Driver deceased

Unit 2: Driver deceased

PASSENGERS:

Unit 2: Passenger Life Flighted with life threatening injuries

𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐘: Preliminary information is the accident involved a wrong way driver.

Eastbound traffic lanes were shut down for a period of several hours as the crash was being investigated.

No further information is available at this time.

Interstate 74 is closed down due to a multi-vehicle accident at the 63 mile marker.

Seek an alternate route to avoid delays.

Alternate routes include US Highway 150 E at exits 54 and 71 for truck traffic.
