Boil Order Lifted for Village of Roseville and Communities on Dallas Rural Water District

The Dallas Rural Water Supply has experienced a major water main break. The Village of Roseville, Media, Raritan, and other surrounding areas on the Dallas Rural Water Supply are under a boil order until further notice. Boil water for five minutes before drinking.

Effecting all of the DRWD areas.

DRWD has an identified water main break around 6 am today, Tuesday January 24th. It has been isolated and are working to fix it as quickly as possible. Some areas of the system may have not water while others have extremely reduced pressure.

A BOIL ORDER is in effect immediately for the entire system until further notice.

This boil order is issued to water consumers to boil all drinking and culinary water for at least five minutes before use. Once the IEPA has notified us of acceptable water samples further notification will be sent when this is released.
