Three powerhouse voices will bring the biggest hits of the greatest divas in pop music history to Dahl Chapel on the Monmouth College campus for the next concert of the Maple Leaf Community Concert Series on Tuesday, March 7th beginning at 7 pm. Barb Clark, concert series member, shares the group DIVAS 3 will bring Las Vegas to Monmouth:
“It is called DIVAS 3. These gals have been in Las Vegas. It is three women who sing the music from four decades from the 1960s to the 1990s. They do hits that were done by Aretha Franklin, Carole King, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Cher, Dolly Parton; we got to love her, Donna Summer, and lots more. They have perfected their act in Las Vegas and the costumes and lighting and sound I think will really make people think that is where they are. They have also performed on cruise ships.”
The Maple Leaf Community Concert Series is currently in their 30th season. Tickets for the upcoming show are $25 for non-members and can be purchased at the Buchanan Center for the Arts or at the door on the evening of the concert. Transportation is also available to and from the event through Warren County Public Transportation.
